My Grandma Hofheins

If I were to describe my Grandma in one word it would be firm.
She is firm in her beliefs, her integrity, in serving one another, and her love of God.
She will never give up.

If I could only take one lesson learned from her it would be the importance of hard work.
She exemplifies this trait by always magnifying her church callings, serving in the MTC, teaching the piano for free, serving her neighbors all around her, and making sure she knows what is going on in every single one of her children’s, grandchildren’s, great-grandchildren’s, and friends life.
She works to maintain relationships, she works to keep her house organized, she works to mend broken hearts, she works to provide each family member a hand crafted and intricate doll, she works hard to keep her family together.

I love my Grandma because she is unwavering in her testimony of the Savior. And because of this firm testimony, she has become an example of Christ.

I love my Grandma because of the stories she tells.
I love my Grandma because she always knows how I am really doing inside.
I love my Grandma because she supports me in my decisions.
I love my Grandma because she listens to me.

I am grateful everyday for the friendship that we have developed between us. Not only is she a wonderful Grandma to me, but also a wonderful friend.

I love you Grandma. You are my best friend.

We are pretty lucky huh? I will always remember Grandma with a smile on her face and that twinkle in her eye, and ding dongs in the cupboard.
